ABOUT LYRIC

Turning Lived Experience Into Leadership & Impact

Lyric Wardlow is a public speaker, activist, and City of Austin Community Development Commissioner whose work focuses on homelessness advocacy, Black girl empowerment, and equity through lived experience and storytelling. Based in Austin, Texas, Lyric has influenced policy, led educational workshops nationwide, and created Untangled: A Discovery Into Black Hair to promote cultural understanding and resilience. She is currently completing her forthcoming book, Untangled. Her work inspires audiences to move from awareness to action.
